While out riding our bikes along some lonely gravel road in some way-out west town in Illinois, Al and I decided to cut ties with our current coaching endeavor and start fresh, rediscover our roots . . . cuz roots are dirty and Al and I love to play in the mud. We brainstormed catchy business names allowing us to pass the miles and ultimately we settled on Dirtbag Coaching. Dirtbags we are, yes, but dirtbags was not meant to be. Suddenly, as quickly as lightning strikes a corn crib (we are Midwesterners) the proverbial light switch was flipped and Al who always dons his entrepreneurial cap, suggested we connect with his former bike shop Mudslingers . . . and so we did.
